Pastor Rollin Howard, Interim Pastor
Rollin and his wife Susan Howard are joining us to grow and to serve from a background of over 30 years of pastoral ministry. He grew up in Newark Valley, NY; she grew up in Meadville, PA. He was saved as a five-year old; she as a college student. Rollin graduated from Baptist Bible College and the Seminary in Clarks Summit, PA. Susan is an alumnus of Penn State University. They have four grown children and soon, twelve grandchildren! Currently they are the caregivers of Rollin’s mom, Naomi Tarbox, a resident of Newark Valley for 70 years. She just turned 90 in March 2023. Rollin has been the lead pastor of three churches: Bradford Baptist Church, Bradford, NY for 9 1/2 years; Ross Corners Baptist Church, Vestal, NY for 14 years; and Tuscarora Baptist Church, Addison, NY for 6 years. He has just finished two long-term interims at both Emmanuel Baptist Church, Penn Yan, NY and Bible Baptist Church, Williamson, NY. For the last two years, Rollin has been part of the faculty of the Northeast Fellowship’s New School of Theology and Ministry. Rollin and Susan have a passion for discipleship. Their greatest joy is pointing people to Jesus Christ! Welcome back home to Newark Valley, Pastor Howard! Pastor Richard Lloyd, Pastor for Seniors
Pastor Lloyd is a graduate of Practical Bible Training School (1969, now Davis College), Calvary Bible College (1971), and Calvary Graduate School (1973, now Calvary University) in Kansas City, Missouri. Pastor Lloyd was a faculty member and Administrator at Practical Bible Training School, Johnson City, NY for 9 years. He pastored in the State of Maine and Brooktondale Baptist Church, in NY. He and his wife, Liz have two adult children and two grandsons. Pastor Lloyd brings many years of ministry experience and a genuine love for people and ministry to FBNV. His ministry will be specifically targeted to our senior population but is a constant encouragement to all our congregation. |

Seth Finch, Interim Director of Youth
Seth Finch is our Interim Director of Youth and Family Ministries. He is a graduate of Practical Bible College (Bachelor of Religious Education), and Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary (Masters of Divinity). He is married to Julie, and they have five children(left to right): Matthew, Serenity, Elizabeth, Sophia, Andrew. Seth has served in the role of youth pastor, missionary lead pastor (Kansas/Michigan) revitalization pastor, associate pastor, and sr. pastor. Seth’s desire is to help people know, experience, and show God’s love in their lives. |
